Wednesday November 29, 2017 from 12:15 to 13:00

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital

More than 15 years after the landmark WHI study, there still remains confusion about the appropriate role and risk-benefit profile  of Hormone herapy (HT) in the management of symptomatic patients.

New alternatives and routes of delivery provide a wider range of options for patients.

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the natural history and magnitiude of the perimenopausal transition and menopause.
  • Evaluate patients to determine whether HT is approrpiate.
  • Confidently prescribe treatment and monitor patients on HT.
